Central Board of Secondary Education, or CBSE as it is known popularly, is a national level board of education for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Union Government of India.

The CBSE curriculum is designed to provide a holistic and a child-centred approach towards education without any stress. The syllabus content is practical and not bookish, thus preparing the students for their future careers without overloading them with information.

The holistic pattern of the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) has been recorded to have a positive effect on the student's attitude to towards studies, leading to an improved performance in the exams.
