About IGCSE

The International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE) is an English language curriculum developed by the University of Cambridge International Examinations. It is offered to students to prepare them for International Baccalaureate, A Level and BTEC Level 3. The IGCSE is an international alternative to the popular board curricula.

The IGCSE students can choose their own set of subjects along with the “core” subjects. Therefore, the evaluation process of IGCSE is different because the student receives an IGCSE qualification for each subject they study.

The Cambridge education offers an International Certification of Examination (ICE) group qualification who achieve A+ to C across following groups:

• Group 1 : Languages
• Group 2 : Humanities and Social Sciences
• Group 3 : Sciences
• Group 4 : Mathematics
• Group 5 : Technical, Creative and Vocational
